Kazi Pitelka has participated in the Monday Evening Concerts since 1980, first as a regular with the MEC Ensemble and later as a member of XTET in its annual appearances. She is principal violist of L.A. Opera, of the Long Beach Symphony, and of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and she is active in Los Angeles‚ recording and motion picture industry. When she's not mucking about in LA's freelance swamp you might find her in her orchard with her 65 different fruit trees and 23 chickens.
