Xibei Jia Piano
Pianist Xibei Jia has performed and worked as a soloist with major orchestras such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops Orchestra, and recital engagements throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States.
As a chamber musician she has collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Steve Reich, Steve Drury, Donald and Vivian Weilerstein, Kim Kashkashian, the Borromeo Quartet, and the JACK Quartet.
Ms. Jia is the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships and has studied at the Conservatorie de Paris, the International Piano Academy in Lake Como, Italy, and holds both bachelor and master degrees from New England Conservatory where her primary teachers were Patricia Zander and Alexander Korsantia. She has participated in masterclasses with Martha Argerich, Murray Perahia, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Leon Fleisher, and Richard Goode, among others.
