Ian Carroll

Trombone

Ian Carroll (b. 1982) is a trombonist, composer, and teacher. Ian Carroll holds a Bachelor’s of Music Performance from the University of Louisville, Kentucky where he studied trombone with Brett Shuster. Currently, Ian is obtaining his Master’s of Fine Arts in Music from the California Institute of the Arts where he is studying with James Miller, Vinny Golia, Susie Allen, David Roistein, and Wadada Leo Smith.
